The pizza was horrible. The slice of cheese pizza that I had. It was hardly any cheese on it. Crust was horrible. I don’t know who the owners are now, but it’s not the taste that I tasted some years ago and I’m from New York. I know what pizza good pizza tastes like I won’t recommend anybody to go to this place. Atmosphere looks nice but it’s not like it used to be and that was a long time ago. Somebody else took over that place and trying to act like they’re the original owners. Pizza was horrible. Prices too high Don’t waste your money or time. The atmosphere does not match the food

The food was so delicious! The pizza crust was amazing and just the right amount of sauce. The Cesar salad dressing tasted homemade, lettuce crisp, heavy on the parmesan cheese, croutons crunchy and flavorful.

I used to love the pizza here. Just got a slice to take out… no sauce, dry, maybe 4 pepperoni on the whole thing. Dont stop, you can find better.

Great pizza. Had the meat lover’s pizza, alot of toppings and not greasy. Some people might find this place alittle cramped. Friendly staff as well.

Gianna’s New York Style Pizzeria – “The Art of the Perfect Slice”
By Ted Cucuro, Las Vegas Nevada
AI News, Hospitality Correspondent

Walking into Gianna’s New York Style Pizzeria feels less like entering a restaurant and more like returning to a familiar home – one filled with the scent of slow-simmered tomatoes, warm dough, and a legacy that has only deepened since 1988. As a genuinely happy regular, I can say with confidence that Gianna’s hasn’t simply claimed “only the best” – they’ve proven it, pie after pie, year after year.

What gives their pizza its unmistakable character is a devotion to authenticity that borders on the artisanal. Their dough begins with Nepalese Double-Zero Flour, prized for its delicate texture and remarkable elasticity. It gives each crust that impossible balance – crispy on the outside, tender at its heart – that true New York slice lovers instantly recognize.

Then there are the Sicilian San Marzano tomatoes, naturally sweet and sun-ripened, forming the soul of their sauce. Paired with Grande brand cheese, known as the gold standard for quality and melt, the flavors harmonize into something that genuinely feels like a piece of Italy baked into every bite.

But the magic doesn’t stop with the ingredients. Gianna’s pizzas are fired in a 50-year-old brick oven, a heritage piece in its own right. This venerable oven imparts a depth of flavor and texture that simply can’t be replicated with modern equipment. Every pizza emerges with that perfect blistered crust and a warmth that radiates tradition.

The atmosphere inside Gianna’s is intimate and warmly familiar. Staff members have been here for many years, and their expertise shows not just in the food they serve but in the effortless hospitality they extend. They remember names, they remember favorites, and they treat regulars and newcomers with equal warmth.

A significant part of this consistency comes from the owners themselves, who are notably hands-on in their management style. They are often present – greeting guests, ensuring that high standards are upheld. Their involvement keeps the restaurant grounded in its roots while maintaining the experience.

Gianna’s isn’t just a pizzeria – it’s a legacy, a gathering place, and a true gem tucked into Las Vegas; and just blocks from the strip on Sahara Avenue. As someone who keeps coming back, I can say that the reason is simple: every visit feels like savoring tradition; one handcrafted slice at a time.

BOGO on the Sicilian/Grandma slices from 2-4 is a lot of food. Great spot for slices definitely worth stopping. Great service from Carina 🍕🍕⭐

Two slices with soda is under $9 from 2-4!!!

Best New York slice in Vegas? Possibly.
I would put it in the top 3 with Grimaldi’s and Evil Pie. Where is the best spot for a relaxing slice out of these three? Hands down Gianna’s. This is where locals go for a solid slice at a great price.

You cannot beat the quality ingredients here, however. The crust, sauce, and cheese are perfection. The staff cares about putting out the best products here. Do not go and skip on the garlic knots. They truly are the best in Vegas! They use only highest quality EVOO and the garlic is baked into the knot. No pool of buttery spread like most places. Perfection.

Nice and clean pizza place to get good food. Can watch as the pizza is being hand tossed. Expert pizza maker behind the counter. Nice young lady making sandwiches and running the counter. Good pizza and the meatball sub was delicious.

The grandmas pie is one of my favorites that I’ve had in quite some time. Sweet flavorful sauce, fresh basil, fresh cheese, perfect crust not burnt. A little greasy. I advise anyone with a hankering for a fresh pizza pie to try Gianna’s grandmas pie.
